Happy Birthdays Today and Upcoming

Happy Birthday to Tami, and to Paul Daggett as well! I know that there are those in the Jewell clan that know these people better than I do, as well as Noni Daggett who turns 59 on September 13th. Kris Schade turns 51 on September 12th, and Casey Singleton turns 17 on September 14th.

Happy Birthday To Me...!

Imelda made me some my favorites, oat bran muffins, tuna empanadas and aqua de horchata (rice water, although she doesn't use rice). I even saved some of them from Alden and Mark! It was a real nice, simple day.

Then Mom and Dad took our whole family out to dinner for my birthday, then cake and ice-cream at their house afterward. While we were at the restaurant, Azteca, Imelda mentioned to the right (or wrong, depending on your perspective) person and they sang the embarrassing happy birthday song and put a big Mexican sombrero on me and took a picture for your viewing pleasure of my embarrassment.

Enough for now. I'm up way too late...
